level: B A Curving Walkway Publications Extremely short, but a little tricky. With only one unison in the whole piece, each player has to play his or her part in the right place at the right time or the steady stream of notes will stop! It is an excellent exercise in basic counting, learning how to fit in the ensemble, and learning to play consistent dynamic on (mostly!) standard instruments. Each part contains basic technique instructions and photographs so that the player can have constant written and visual reminders of proper playing techniques—even away from a rehearsal or class. This piece can also be a great way to teach "the basics" of these instruments in a short amount of time. With the piece being relatively short, the players can rotate around all five parts and get "hands on" experience with each instrument during the same instructional period. Instrumentation: Triangle, Cowbell, Woodblock, Tambourine, and "Ring for Service" Bell (or the bell of a suspended cymbal)Total playing time varies—It may be played slowly or quickly depending on the educational or performace goals desired 1 score and 5 parts included suggested retail price: TO NHIMA MEMBERS: THIS TITLE QUALIFIES FOR A 15% Off Mail-In Rebate.
