CURVING WALKWAY PUBLICATIONS: About Us

Curving Walkway Publications is proud to publish and distribute percussion, brass, and band music for beginning to advanced performers. Established in 2003 as a publisher and distributor for advanced percussion literature, CWP's library has grown to include titles for beginning to intermediate percussionists as well. In 2005 the CWP library expanded again to include publications for other instruments and ensembles. Now in it's fifth year, CWP expects 2008 to be one of its biggest years yet.

CWP is a member of the American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), and titles from its catalog have been performed throughout the United States. It is also a proud member of the New Horizons International Music Association (NHIMA), promoting music through over 130 groups throughout the world.

Information about publishing and distributing
We wish to publish works that fit into the following categories:

easy to intermediate/advanced works (percussion, brass, jazz, methods, band): pieces or texts that would be suited for beginners, beginning to intermediate high school performers, or advanced high school to young college performers

more difficult works (percussion, brass, methods): pieces or texts that would be appropriate for advanced college or professional performers of serious literature

pieces or texts designed specifically for older adult players, especially beginners (any instrument). (some of these works might be
suitable for younger beginners as well)

Information about distributing with us:

Curving Walkway also distributes exclusively select music titles from composers and other self-publishers. Curving Walkway also distributes music-related texts and provides other organizational services for music organizations or publishers needing small to moderate distribution needs and who are interested in individual attention to their needs.
