PDF FILES (PRINTED MUSIC EXAMPLES) Our printed score and part examples are saved on the website as .pdf files. Viewing these image files requires Acrobat Reader 4.0 or higher (5.0 or higher for some files) to be installed on your machine or browser. Often this program will be on your computer already (many programs use this technology), but if you need to download it, or need a newer version of it, we ask you to download the free Acrobat Reader so that you can view our printed music examples. Sorry for any inconvenience.

SOUND FILES PART 1 Many of our sound files require a QuickTime movie player. Many web browsers have this feature "built in," but some do not. If for some reason you don't see a "player" right beneath the description of the sound file (look for a bar with buttons on it much like any VCR/DVD/Cassette player), or if there is a broken image (telling you that something is missing!), you will need to install the player. If you need to install the QuickTime player, or need a newer version of it, we ask that you download the free player so that you can hear our sound files. Sorry for any inconvenience. CLICK HERE TO GET THE LATEST QUICKTIME MOVIE PLAYER SOUND FILES PART 2 Some of our newer sound files are also available as MP3 files, which should work on multiple platforms (Mac, Windows, etc.). If you have problems with your setup, let us know. Thanks
Note to users with slower connections: The first time you load the page it might take some time for all of the files to load. Be patient! And don't worry about having to do this every time you visit the page. Usually once you download the files they are in your browser's cache (memory) and will load quickly each time you visit the page (unless the cache is cleared for some reason).
Note about file quality: The files are compressed from their original state to allow for smaller files. This results in some loss of sound quality. Use the files as only a rough guide. Obviously you or your group's performance will be (and should be) different!
